This page from the "Gaceta Callejera " newspaper uses text and image to relay a news item regarding a shooting that took place on a train traveling from the village of Atzcapozalco . It is illustrated with a print of a charro in the act of aiming his gun and firing at a soldier . Roberto Berdecio and Stanley Appelbaum in "Posada's Popular Mexican Prints " (New York : Dover Publication , Inc. , 1972) state on p . 84 , "The killer was Leopoldo Cárdenas , who followed his mistress Teodora Piedras onto a trolley and shot her. She was traveling with a young girl she called her sister... . The broadside shows the picture completed at left by the arrival of the two policemen , one of whom is being shot by Cárdenas.
