Description	The play, Los Pastores, was brought to New Mexico from Old Mexico by Valentin Florez in 1856. Afterwards, it came into the possession of Antonio Gallegos of Agua Fria, New Mexico. "The Agua Fria version is a copy of the original as copied from the Old Mexico version by Senor Trujillo, with the exception of the introduction of the Indian character at the last of the play. This character is the creation of some New Mexican author who thought it seemly to have an Indian come and worship the Christ-Child also, and gives this version a unique New World touch."
