Description	A main food of Indians, native corn was ground by the women on hollowed-out rock. They rubbed the corn across the surface with another rock and caught and crushed the grains. The slab of rock was raised and used similarly to a washboard. The grinding was accompanied by singing and included are songs sung by the Zunis and from Acoma.
