| Description | J. D. Robb Field Recording. Recorded in Albuquerque, NM. J.D.R. note: "1160a-1186. These are taped recordings made by J.D.Robb on December 26, 1953 at the Sacred Heart Gymnasium in Albuquerque and sung by a group from Socorro, New Mexico headed by Salomon A. Apodaca of Socorro. Permission was granted Richard B. Stark to use transcriptions of the words and melodies of this version of the play in his book Spanish Folk Plays of New Mexico, which was published in 1969 by the Museum of New Mexico Press. They are to be found at pages 31-72 of that volume and since they are already available in that form it would be redundant to reproduce them again here." And "Same tune as 1170."
