Joe Barnes was educated for a lawyer, passed the Bar; educated for a doctor, passed the examinations, and then he turned out to be a bank robber and he stole an old doctor's horse and buggy there in Montague, Texas, and they claimed that he had a heart as big as a beef steer. He died about, oh, seven or eight or ten months after this in Huntsville." For complete note, see bound volume. |
